WHAT ARE HANDMADE PAPER/CLOTH BEADS?
Our paper and cloth beads are individually cut and hand-rolled into a bead, then they are coated in a sealant. It can take several days to make a variety of beads. The art of hand-rolling beads originated in England during the Victorian Age. Today the art is still widely used in Africa. We recommend that you do not immerse any jewelry purchased made with our paper or cloth beads in water or jewelry cleaner. Any metal can be gently cleaned with a jewelry cloth or a small amount of cleaner and wiped away with a damp cloth. Although sealed, there is still a potential for the paper/cloth to become soft if there is contact with water.
OUR RESIN PENDANTS
All of necklace pendants feature either hand-painted art or printed original digital art and are sealed in resin. Because each piece is handmade, it is normal to have small blemishes such as small bubbles in the resin during the curing process. Our pendants can take several days to complete, especially the hand-painted details on such a small canvas!
